Silencer takes the recognisable form of an interrogation, and fragments it over two different locations and turns it inwards by the use of a single actor playing dual roles. One role of the actor is consigned to the turbulence and chaos of the water, while the other uses the privileged position above water to their advantage, and subjects the powerless other to some kind of pain in order to extract information.
